Hello students, parents and carers. Welcome to our next upload on the Transition Zone. We hope that you found last week’s uploads interesting and informative, and that those of you who have gone back to school have had an easy return to the classroom.
This week, we have uploaded a video from the Year 7 Form Tutors, alongside a video from our Head of Maths, Mr Jones, with a demonstration of mirroring that you can try at home. If you’d like your design to be featured on our Twitter feed or on this webpage, please send your work to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will also find some English-based Frequently Asked Questions, a subject specific word-search and some links to some information on our website to have a look at to help with the preparation for September.
Thank you for all of your enquiries and information that you have sent in; you should have received responses to these. If you have any further questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to ask. Don’t forget to send your confidentiality forms back to school. Alternatively, if you need new forms please just fill out the Sharing Information box below.
Our next update will include a mini lesson from our Art department – get ready to be creative! Also, we will be introducing you to our key staff at KNBS, providing some more transition activities and some FAQs answered by our Geography and Music departments.
Have a good week!
Here you will find some FAQs that have been answered to prepare you for your English lessons at KNBS. If you have any other questions, please ask your parents to send an enquiry on the Sharing Information form below, and Mrs Kendall will get back to you as soon as possible.
Word Search Puzzle When you start your journey with us in September, you will have access to lots of different subjects – some of which you may not have studied in Primary School. Complete this word-search to familiarise yourselves with the different subjects you will find on your timetable. Download
Postcard Activity Winners A huge well done to everyone who submitted an entry for the praise postcard competition. The winners have now been announced for each category.
Click this link to share any important information with Mrs Kendall, Head of Year 7, or if you have a query. She will either respond directly to you, or, if many parents have asked the same question, she will update the website with the relevant information.
