Hello students, parents and carers. Welcome to our final upload on the Transition Zone. We hope that you have found our uploads interesting and informative, and that you are all looking forward to a restful summer break.
As this unusual time in school draws to a close, we thank you all for sharing our excitement of welcoming our new students in September. As we navigate through the next six weeks, we ask that you all keep safe and well during this time so that we can see you in September, happy and ready to learn! We cannot promise what this will look like just yet, but our Senior Leadership Team are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that your transition to secondary school is done in the safest way possible.
Uploaded to this week’s Transition Zone is a message on safety over the Summer Holiday from our Deputy Headteacher, Mr Butcher; a video from our Outdoor Education Leader, Mr Julian; FAQ’s for ICT, Food Technology, Modern Foreign Languages and History; PE challenges for over the Summer Holiday and a link to see the progress of our new Sports Hall that is currently being built in time for September.
Thank you for all of your enquiries and information that you have sent in; you should have received responses to these. If you have any further questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to ask. Don’t forget to send your confidentiality forms back to school. Alternatively, if you need new forms please just fill out the Sharing Information box below to request them.
Have a restful and safe break and we will see you all in September.

Within this booklet, there are a range of English tasks to support and close the gap between the end of Year 6 and the start of Year 7. There is no emphasis to complete this booklet, however those who do will be starting the year with commendations for outstanding effort in English.
Below you will find some FAQs that have been answered to prepare you for your lessons at KNBS. If you have any other questions, please ask your parents to send an enquiry on the Sharing Information form, and Mrs Kendall will get back to you as soon as possible.
