Teacher of PE
MPS - Required for September 2020
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of PE to join King’s Norton Boys’ School as we continue on our journey towards becoming Outstanding. This post is particularly suitable for NQTs but more experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
We are looking for a dynamic and caring individual who is able to teach PE to GCSE/BTEC standard and possibly another subject to Key Stage 3. Our school has a fully deserved reputation for offering a highly supportive and collaborative environment. The PE department has an established track record of exam success and a full programme of extra-curricular sport. Boys are enthusiastic about PE and there is an ethos that values participation and team work, developed across a whole range of sports. You will benefit from the support of both your department and our excellent pastoral team who have high expectations and promote positive behaviour and strict but caring ethos.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious candidate as we build on our upward trajectory. A culture that 'we are all learners' exists throughout the school. Each and every staff member is focused on continuous improvement and we work collaboratively to support one another. We pride ourselves on the opportunities we provide for staff to develop as practitioners and leaders. Applicants should complete the school’s application form and submit with a supporting letter, maximum of two sides of A4.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday 6th April 2020.
Applications should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
