Y7 Ski lesson - Snowdome

Dear Parents,

Ski Lesson - Snowdome

I have organised the first ‘Learn to Ski lesson’ at the Tamworth Snowdome for any year 7 students who would like an introduction into skiing.  These lessons will take place in November at the Tamworth Snowdome and will allow your son an opportunity to try a new sport at school.

We shall be leaving school at 9am and will travel by school minibus for a 4 hour lesson on the snow. We should be back to school for 5.30pm depending upon the M6 traffic.

The cost of the full day skiing day lesson is £45

I regret that these lessons are expensive but their popularity and low student, instructor ratio increases the cost.

Skiing is one of the easier winter sports to learn, within 4 hours he should be whizzing down the Snowdome slope once mastering the snowplough turn.

The ski lessons have been arranged the week after half term in November.

We have made bookings to take 3 groups (12 places in each) on 3 different days.

If you wish your son to take this lesson, please fill out and submit the Ski Lesson Consent form (link below) as soon as possible along with payment via Parent Pay (link below).

The deadline date is Friday 20th September.

Places will be allocated on a first come basis so please submit the ski consent form and payment as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Consent form and payment need to be done to secure a place.

Once all the places have been allocated I will send out confirmation and ski lesson details along with suggested clothes to be worn.

Thanks for your support.
