Governing Board
At King’s Norton Boys’ School our Governing Board has a broad balance of diversity, skills, knowledge and experience. This means we are able to make a valuable contribution to all of our students’ education, opportunities and futures, by providing strategic leadership and accountability in the school, which is underpinned by our three core functions:
- overseeing the financial performance of the school and ensuring its money is well spent
- holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its students
- ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
Our full Governing Board meets twelve times per year, with a single Vision, Culture and Strategy Committee that meets as required, to make any board-led adjustments to our five-year strategic plan; other statutory roles are undertaken by link governors.
