Parents' Careers Info
The world of work changes rapidly. 85% of the jobs that will exist in 2023 haven’t even been invented yet. 81% of UK students say their parents/carers help them make key careers decisions. This means that parents and carers need impartial information that will allow them to provide accurate advice and guidance to their children.
The ‘Post-16 Options’ page of the website will provide students and parents/carers about the four main pathways that are open to students when leaving KNBS. The ‘Useful websites’ page has a wealth of links to websites that will inform both students and parents/carers about mapping out the future, colleges, sixth form colleges, academies, information about apprenticeships and how to search for apprenticeships.
On this page, there are links that are specifically aimed at parents and carers, to provide them with the latest ‘need-to-know’ information.
