Temporary Teacher of Food Technology (Maternity Cover)
Required for two terms starting 7th January 2019 until 19th July 2019
We require an enthusiastic, talented and inspirational teacher of Food Technology who is committed to raising the expectations and achievements of our students.
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, and a passion for teaching Food Technology.
The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching across KS3 and 4, strong communication skills and will be able to inject their enthusiasm for Food Technology not only within students they teach but across the whole of the Technology department.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate eager to provide maternity cover at King's Norton Boys' School as it builds on its upward trajectory. Our GCSE results in 2017 were amongst the best the school has ever achieved. We have high expectations to continue rapidly improving in order that all our students can achieve their aspirations and reach their full potential.
Each and every staff member at our school is united in their focus on continuous improvement and we work collaboratively to support one another across the school as a whole. The culture that 'we are all learners' exists throughout the school.
If you would like to visit the school then please contact Mrs Holland, Headteacher’s PA, on 0121 628 0010.
Applicants should complete the school’s application form and submit with a supporting letter, maximum of two sides of A4, and return to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 10am on Friday 14th December 2018.
