Associate Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion)

Salary: L7-11  Permanent. Start date: ASAP

We are looking to appoint an Associate Assistant Headteacher –Inclusion

The purpose of the job will be to:

  • To lead the Inclusion team and ensure the strategic development of the KNBS’s Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision, our Pupil Premium strategy and support in place for vulnerable pupils.
  • To carry out the role of SENDCo in order to support the strategic and operational management of students with special educational needs and ensure that KNBS support is in line with the Code of Practice.
  • Manage and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Inclusion, with the aim of contributing to the raising SEN & PP student standards, progress and outcomes.
  • To quality assure the teaching and learning for SEND (In particular Support and EHCP students) and PP student in order to raise standards.
  • Develop outstanding home school relationships.
