Governing Board

At King’s Norton Boys’ School our Governing Board has a broad balance of diversity, skills, knowledge and experience. This means we are able make a valuable contribution to all our students’ education, opportunities and futures by providing strategic leadership and accountability in the school, which is underpinned by our three core functions:

  • Overseeing the financial performance of the school and ensuring its money is well spent.
  • Holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its students.
  • Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.

Our full Governing Board meets 12 times per year, with a single Vision, Culture & Strategy Committee that meets as required to make any board led adjustments to our five year strategic plan and other statutory roles are undertaken by link governors.
