'Big Paint' Project

We are seeking volunteers to come and support our school this summer and be a part of a team helping us with our 'Big Paint' project.

What is the 'Big Paint'?

We would like to enhance the environment of our school; it is a lovely building however over time it has become rather drab. So we intend to embark on a rolling programme of painting – the big paint is our attempt to get as much done as possible in the first week of the holidays and get our community involved in their school. Therefore, we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us paint our corridors and classrooms. Materials will be supplied by us, all that we need is the will power and energy of our community.

What volunteers get in return?

They get experience of working as part of a team and being part of a group that will make a real difference to our boys learning environment. For those on college courses we will also provide a letter at the end of the project which could act as part of a reference in order to support their future.

We are really hoping you can help us and our school as this will extremely benefit the pupils at King's Norton Boys' School.

Any amount of time will be greatly appreciated, whether it is 1 hour, 1 day, or the whole week! The plan is for the project to commence week commencing 22nd July 2019 and run for the week.

To be a part of this exciting community project, please contact Mr C George by email c.george@knbs.co.uk or by phone 0121 628 0010. All offers, queries and questions are very welcome.
